Dr Indrani Banerjee is a highly dedicated Consultant Anaesthetist who provides expert anaesthetic care for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. With a clinical focus that spans general surgery, trauma and orthopaedics, and obstetric anaesthesia, she is committed to ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal pain management throughout the perioperative journey. Dr Banerjee works closely with multidisciplinary surgical teams to deliver tailored anaesthetic plans, from pre-operative assessments to post-operative recovery.

In addition to her clinical duties, Dr Banerjee holds key leadership roles that reflect her commitment to high standards of medical practice and patient safety. She serves as an Audit and Clinical Governance Lead, where she oversees clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure that anaesthetic services consistently meet national guidelines and best practices. Passionate about medical education, Dr Banerjee also serves as a College Tutor.
