Dr. Imran Mughal

Dr. Imran Mughal is a Specialist GP with clinical interests in diabetes, thyroid and hormonal health, adrenal conditions, and functional medicine. He is part of the Lincolnshire Long COVID multidisciplinary team, providing care for individuals experiencing post-COVID health complications.

He graduated in medicine in 1999 and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2008. His postgraduate qualifications include a Diploma in Child Health (DCH), a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG), and a Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health (DFSRH). In 2015, he completed a Certificate in Cardiology, expanding his expertise in cardiovascular medicine.

Dr. Mughal has also undertaken further specialised training, including a Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes (University of Leicester, 2020), a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education (2022), and Functional Medicine training in autoimmunity through the British Society for Ecological Medicine (BSEM).

He combines his general practice expertise with a focus on integrated and functional approaches to health, offering patient care that addresses both conventional and holistic aspects of medicine.
