Dr Henna Rather

Dr Henna Rather is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist specialising in comprehensive women's healthcare and maternal medicine. With a focus on providing reassuring and evidence-based clinical care, Dr Rather supports patients through every phase of pregnancy and general gynaecological health. Her clinical approach emphasises patient-centred communication and continuity of care, ensuring patients feel fully informed, valued, and safe throughout their treatment.

In her clinical practice, Dr Rather possesses expertise in managing medical complexities during pregnancy, with a focus on high-risk obstetrics. She cares for patients with pre-existing or pregnancy-induced conditions, including renal, neurological, rheumatological, hepatic, gastroenterological, and dermatological disorders. Working alongside multidisciplinary colleagues, including Specialist Midwives and Obstetric Physicians, she guides women from early antenatal care through to delivery and the postnatal period. Furthermore, she maintains extensive operational leadership in labour ward management and maternity triage services.

Dr Rather graduated with her medical degree from the University of London. She subsequently completed higher specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology across several major healthcare centres. In addition to her clinical commitments, Dr Rather is actively engaged in medical education, serving as a Deputy College Tutor to mentor junior doctors and advance standards of clinical training in her field.
