Mrs Henna Rafique

Mrs Henna Rafique is a highly qualified Consultant General Surgeon and Consultant Colorectal Surgeon dedicated to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care. She provides thorough diagnostic evaluations and individualised treatment plans for a wide range of general surgical and colorectal conditions. Known for her empathetic approach, she prioritises open communication, ensuring that patients feel informed, comfortable, and well supported throughout their care journey.

In her clinical practice, Mrs Rafique specialises in both general surgical procedures and advanced colorectal care. Her expertise encompasses the management of benign proctological conditions, including advanced non-surgical and surgical treatments for haemorrhoids, such as radiofrequency ablation, rubber band ligation, and injection sclerotherapy. She also manages anal fissures, anal skin tags, and anal warts, while holding sub-specialist clinical interests in complex proctology, inflammatory bowel disease, pouch surgery, and diagnostic gastrointestinal procedures as a certified Endoscopist.

Mrs Rafique graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from University College London Medical School in 2007, alongside an intercalated Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Pharmacology. She completed higher surgical training within North West Thames, followed by specialist colorectal training at prominent teaching centres. Her post-graduate credentials include a Master of Science (MSc) in Trauma Sciences from Queen Mary University of London and a PhD completed through St Mark's Hospital Academic Institute. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) and maintains a strong commitment to medical research and surgical leadership.
