Dr Helen Walker

Dr Helen Walker is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides compassionate, comprehensive care for women across all stages of life. Demonstrating a strong commitment to patient-centred medicine, Dr Walker works collaboratively with every individual to deliver thorough diagnostic assessments and tailored treatment plans. Her clinical practice focuses on restoring confidence and improving quality of life through thoughtful, empathetic, and evidence-based care.

Dr Walker completed her foundational medical training, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 1998. Demonstrating a high standard of clinical skill and expertise, she achieved membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2005. She remains an active member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, maintaining alignment with current clinical guidance and advancing postgraduate medical education.

Specialising in Urogynaecology, Dr Walker holds particular expertise in managing conditions that affect the female pelvic floor. Her clinical focus encompasses the diagnosis and management of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction, and obstetric anal sphincter injury. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves in key educational and departmental leadership roles, including serving as a Urogynaecology Lead and College Tutor to support the clinical training of junior doctors and maintain standards of patient safety.
