Dr Hazel Learner

Dr Hazel Learner is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides compassionate, expert care across a wide range of gynaecological health needs. With a clinical focus on patient-centred care, Dr Learner supports individuals through every stage of life, offering empathetic guidance and evidence-based treatments tailored to each patient's circumstances. Her practice is founded on clear, reassuring communication, ensuring patients feel comfortable and fully supported when navigating complex or sensitive health conditions.

Dr Learner specialises in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology alongside Complex Congenital Gynaecology. Her clinical practice encompasses the assessment and management of gynaecological concerns arising in childhood and adolescence, such as menstrual dysfunction, vulval disorders, and ovarian cysts. She possesses particular expertise in caring for individuals with complex congenital conditions, including Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome and uterovaginal anomalies leading to obstructed menstruation. Additionally, Dr Learner provides comprehensive care for individuals with Differences of Sex Development (DSD) and dedicated support for patients affected by female genital cutting or mutilation.

Dr Learner qualified with her medical degree from the University of Southampton in 2008. She subsequently completed her specialist postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology across North Central and East London, followed by higher sub-specialty training in Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology. Dr Learner holds active professional memberships with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare, and the Institute of Psychosexual Medicine.
