A complete lack of empathy for my experince, suffering or having lost my daughter. No interested in finding out about me - seemed mire interested in any I had been to the nos , that it was a mechanical problem. I didn feel treated like an individual. I wa left unseen, unheard, scared and had shred all about myself before we met in writing.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re truly sorry that you were left feeling unseen, unheard, and unsupported. It's deeply concerning to hear that you didn’t feel your personal experiences — including such a profound loss — were acknowledged during your appointment. No one should leave a consultation feeling that way. While assessments do involve gathering clinical information, this should never come at the expense of compassion or recognising you as a person. Your feedback will be shared with our team so we can reflect and improve how we approach these sensitive conversations. If you would like to talk further or have your concerns reviewed, please feel free to contact us at hello@harleymindcare.com .
I can't really say I enjoyed my visit. I was very nervous, I talk a lot and I was told that I may be interrupted.. I have no problem with being interrupted, I do have a problem with being told to be quiet though. As soon as that was said, I shut down and didn't give the right answers to the questions.. altogether I left rather deflated.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear that your experience left you feeling deflated. It’s completely understandable to feel nervous, and it’s important that appointments are handled with care and sensitivity. While clinicians may sometimes need to guide the conversation, this should always be done respectfully. We’re sorry if the way this was communicated made you feel unable to express yourself fully. Your comments have been noted and will help us reflect on how we support patients during assessments. If you'd like to speak further or need additional support, please don’t hesitate to contact us at hello@harleymindcare.com .
