Mr Gregory Ekatah

Mr Gregory Ekatah is an experienced Consultant General Surgeon and Consultant Colorectal Surgeon with extensive expertise in advanced minimally invasive procedures. Dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, he focuses on modern surgical solutions designed to achieve optimal clinical outcomes and support rapid post-operative recovery. His reassuring and professional approach ensures that patients receive clear guidance and tailored care throughout every stage of their treatment.

Within his clinical practice, Mr Ekatah provides a comprehensive range of general and colorectal surgical interventions. His clinical interests include robotic and laparoscopic surgery for colorectal cancer, as well as the management of benign bowel conditions and inflammatory bowel disease. He is skilled in performing robotic hernia repairs, diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies, and treatment for haemorrhoids. In addition, he carries out minor surgical procedures for soft tissue lumps and skin lesions.

Mr Ekatah earned his medical degree from the University of Dundee Medical School before completing higher surgical training through the South-East Scotland training programme. To further refine his surgical skill, he completed two advanced fellowships in robotic colorectal surgery at international centres of excellence. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and holds professional memberships in the Association of Coloproctologists of Great Britain and Ireland and the European Society for Coloproctology. Alongside his clinical practice, he is actively involved in medical education, technological innovation, and surgical training.
