Dr Grant Heatlie

Dr Grant Heatlie is a Consultant Cardiologist who has been practicing for nearly two decades, specialising in general cardiology and cardiac MRI, stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiograpy. His NHS base is the Royal Stoke University Hospital, and he also practices privately at North Staffordshire Nuffield Hospital.

Grant gained his first medical qualification from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne graduating, and also went on to complete his PhD at Southampton University. After gaining his medical bachelors degree, Grant undertook specialist cardiology training in London and Nottingham, and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians. After completing his training, Grant took up his role as Consultant Cardiologist at Royal Stoke Hospital, where he has since contributed to the improvement and development of the Cardiology Department, bringing cardiac MRI to stoke in 2004. He is also the Deputy Medical Director for University hospitals of North Staffordshire, and has been running a series of training courses for specialist cardiologists worldwide, for over 10 years.
