Dr Georgia Smith

Dr Georgia Smith is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides compassionate and comprehensive care across all aspects of women's reproductive health. Dedicated to upholding patient choice and delivering reassuring, supportive care, Dr Smith works closely with individuals through every stage of their healthcare journey, from routine gynaecological evaluations to complex obstetric management. Her patient-focused approach ensures that women receive evidence-based, individualised care that prioritises personal preferences and safety.

With extensive clinical expertise, Dr Smith offers specialised care in urogynaecology, advanced minimal access surgery, and perineal care. Her surgical skillset encompasses a wide range of elective and emergency procedures, including laparoscopic, open, and vaginal hysterectomy, uterovaginal prolapse repairs, and incontinence treatments. She is highly experienced in performing laparoscopic management of ectopic pregnancy and salpingo-oophorectomy. In her obstetric practice, Dr Smith provides expert management for complex inpatient admissions, advanced caesarean sections, instrumental births, and external cephalic version procedures.

Dr Smith earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) and subsequently attained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). Demonstrating a strong commitment to medical training, she also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (PGCE). Alongside her clinical role as a Consultant, she serves as a College Tutor for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, actively guiding, educating, and mentoring resident doctors.
