Dr Francesca Sillito

Dr Francesca Sillito is a dedicated Consultant Haematologist who specialises in haemato-oncology and advanced cellular therapies. With a strong clinical focus on patient-centred care, Dr Sillito specialises in managing complex blood cancers, particularly high-grade lymphomas such as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and mantle cell lymphoma, as well as chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. Her expertise encompasses cutting-edge therapeutic modalities, including CAR-T cell therapy and novel T-cell therapies, delivering tailored treatment pathways for individuals navigating complex blood conditions.

Dr Sillito completed her medical degree at University College London in 2009, subsequently undertaking specialist postgraduate training in Haematology within leading UK teaching institutions. Demonstrating a sustained commitment to academic rigour and clinical advancement, she was awarded a competitive Medical Research Council Clinical Research Fellowship to pursue a PhD investigating T-cell therapies, which she successfully completed in 2023.

In addition to her clinical duties, Dr Sillito actively serves as a Principal Investigator on multiple clinical trials exploring cellular therapies and lymphoma treatments. Her ongoing research interests focus on improving treatment outcomes, addressing CAR-T therapy resistance, and identifying strategies to prevent disease relapse. Working closely within multidisciplinary medical teams, Dr Sillito ensures each patient receives compassionate, evidence-based care informed by the latest scientific innovations.
