About Prof. Keith Gomez
Prof. Keith Gomez graduated from St Thomas' Hospital Medical School in 1992, after which he studied haematology and joined the Haemostasis Research Group at the Medical Research Council. His primary area of research for his doctorate was developing models of tissue factor-initiated coagulation. After being awarded his PhD, Prof Gomez took on his current role as Consultant and Professor in Haemostasis in the Haemophilia Centre and Thrombosis Unit at Royal Free Hospital London. His main areas of clinical practice are bleeding and thrombotic disorders.
