Dr Frances Blackburn

Dr Frances Blackburn is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician based in Worthing. She is highly qualified, holding both MBBS and MRCPCH credentials, and is committed to providing high-quality care for children and young people.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Blackburn serves as a College Tutor for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH). She has also been actively involved in the RCPCH's "Paediatrics 2040" project, contributing to the strategic development of future paediatric services.

Dr Blackburn has a keen interest in clinical research and service improvement, particularly regarding out-of-hospital models of care. She has published work on modernising healthcare delivery, including a 2021 paper on making virtual outpatient consultations work effectively for children and young people.
