Dr Filippo Pigazzani

Dr Filippo Pigazzani is a dedicated Cardiologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. Emphasising evidence-based practices and clear clinical communication, Dr Pigazzani focuses on thorough cardiac assessments, disease prevention, and personalised management strategies. He works collaboratively with patients to evaluate cardiovascular risk, manage chronic heart conditions, and support long-term heart health.

In his clinical practice, Dr Pigazzani has a strong focus on hypertension and ischaemic heart disease. He maintains a specialist clinical and research interest in chronomedicine, investigating how natural body clock rhythms influence heart health and optimising the timing of medication to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. His clinical work encompasses cardiovascular risk factor modification, blood pressure monitoring, management of acute myocardial infarction, and the application of advanced diagnostic approaches in cardiovascular medicine.

Dr Pigazzani completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Parma, receiving his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2007. He subsequently completed specialist training in Cardiology and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Medicine from the University of Parma in 2017, focusing his doctoral research on molecular markers in acute myocardial infarction. Serving as a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant, he remains actively involved in clinical trials, postgraduate medical education, and cardiovascular research.
