About Mr Fazal Hasan
Mr Fazal Hasan is a Consultant General Surgeon and has been a Consultant Surgeon at Benenden Hospital since 2001. In addition to the services he provides at Benenden Hospital, he also works with the NHS as a Consultant General Surgeon at the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. His clinical interests include advanced laparoscopic surgery, thyroid surgery, Hepato Biliary Surgery Common procedures/treatments, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic hernia repair, laparoscopic fundoplications and thorascopic cervical sympathectomy.
Mr Hasan was educated at Eton College and Cambridge University, graduating in medicine from Christ's College Cambridge and St Thomas' Hospital in London. His surgical training was undertaken in London teaching hospitals, including St Thomas' Hospital, Royal Post Graduate Hammersmith, Charing Cross Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital and the Whittington Hospital. Education remains a priority and so he is also a GMC recognised trainer.
