Dr Evangelos Drosos

Dr Evangelos Drosos is a dedicated Neurosurgeon with expertise in complex cranial and skull base procedures. Providing compassionate, patient-centred care, he focuses on delivering thorough diagnostic evaluations and tailored treatment strategies for individuals facing complex neurological conditions. Dr Drosos works closely within multidisciplinary teams to ensure that patient well-being and safety remain at the heart of every surgical plan.

In his clinical practice, Dr Drosos specialises in endoscopic skull base surgery, lateral skull base techniques, and advanced neurosurgical treatments. His areas of clinical focus include the surgical management of complex skull base lesions, brain tumours such as vestibular schwannomas and spheno-orbital meningiomas, and facial nerve reconstruction. By combining detailed neuroanatomical knowledge with modern minimally invasive methods, he aims to achieve optimal surgical outcomes while prioritising patient recovery and quality of life.

Dr Drosos completed his medical education, obtaining his Medical Degree (MD) and later a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Neuroanatomy from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He completed his specialist Neurosurgery training in 2021 and subsequently undertook advanced post-specialist fellowships in lateral and endoscopic skull base surgery. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Drosos conducts doctoral research in neuroanatomy and actively contributes to medical education. He is a prominent member of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS), holding leadership roles within the Young Neurosurgeons Committee and directing regional mentorship programmes.
