Esther Lok

Esther Lok is a Chartered Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with extensive experience across the NHS, private clinical practice, and corporate occupational health settings. Originally from Hong Kong, she earned her Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physiotherapy from the University of East London. She is fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Ms Lok provides multilingual clinical care and is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Her clinical interests focus on the comprehensive management of spinal disorders, including lower back pain, neck pain, and scoliosis, alongside degenerative joint conditions such as osteoarthritis and chronic tendinopathies. She manages a varied clinical caseload that encompasses acute musculoskeletal trauma, such as ligament sprains, muscle tears, and post-fracture rehabilitation, as well as work-related repetitive strain injuries and multi-stage post-operative rehabilitation protocols.

Esther integrates advanced clinical modalities into her evidence-based treatment pathways, utilising manual joint mobilisation, clinical Pilates, acupuncture, and Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT). She combines target soft tissue techniques with structural exercise rehabilitation to alleviate pain, optimise functional biomechanics, and implement long-term injury prevention strategies tailored to individual patient goals.
