Dr Emma Fowler-Stewart

Dr. Emma Fowler-Stewart is a clinical psychologist and eating disorders therapy lead at Priory Hospital in Glasgow, where she has been based since 2016.

She undertook her training at the University of Edinburgh before going on to complete clinical work in Aberdeen. She also spent time gaining expertise in a range of psychological models and in different departments, including adult services, CAMHS, and older adults. Additionally, she undertook specialist training in learning disabilities and eating disorders, which involved working together with individuals, their families, and staff.

She is also trained in applied psychology and is a qualified primary school teacher.

Dr Fowler-Stewart is able to treat a wide range of conditions and uses various techniques, such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and CFT.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Fowler Stewart is interested in research and is involved in a number of projects in various areas, including autism, anxiety, and eating disorders.
