Dr Eleanor Thomas

Dr Eleanor Thomas is an accomplished Consultant Paediatrician who serves as a Clinical Lead in community child health. Dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to infants, children, and young people, she works collaboratively within multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure comprehensive support for young patients and their families. Dr Thomas provides expert medical management across acute child health and long-term community paediatric care.

Her clinical practice covers a broad range of paediatric services. Dr Thomas has extensive expertise in community paediatrics, developmental child health, and neurodevelopmental conditions, including the clinical assessment and management of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Her areas of focus also include paediatric epilepsy, childhood infectious diseases, and routine immunisation programmes, alongside a strong emphasis on enhancing inpatient communication and clinical support for children with complex disabilities.

Dr Thomas completed her undergraduate medical training with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, alongside a Bachelor of Science with Honours (BSc Hons). She is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). Furthermore, Dr Thomas holds full registration on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Paediatrics, highlighting her commitment to rigorous medical standards and ongoing professional excellence.
