Dr Edward Andrews

Dr Edward Andrews is a highly dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care to infants, children, and young people. With a reassuring and professional approach, he works closely with families to support the health and development of his young patients. Dr Andrews understands the unique challenges of childhood illnesses and strives to create a welcoming environment where both children and their parents feel fully supported throughout their healthcare journey.

In his clinical practice, Dr Andrews specialises in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes, with a particular focus on growth and puberty disorders. His expertise also extends to general paediatric medicine, including the management of common childhood conditions such as gastro-oesophageal reflux. He has contributed to clinical research in these areas, helping to advance the understanding of pharmacological treatments and clinical decision aids for young patients.

Dr Andrews graduated with his medical degree from Southampton University. He went on to complete his comprehensive paediatric training within the Wessex deanery, where he undertook specialised research posts and completed advanced training in paediatric diabetes and endocrinology. Dr Andrews is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) and holds professional membership with the British Society for Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes (BSPED).
