Following two cycles of IVF (one ICSI and one INSI) at CRGH through the NHS provision at UCLH, the second of which resulted in our daughter born in 2022, it was an easy decision to pursue further private treatment at CRGH when my husband and I began considering growing our family again. We had a very straightforward consultation online with Dr Theodorou who was able to talk us through the process for FETs, costings, and answer my questions about timings and medications. We are delighted that the first FET has been successful and we are now expecting our second CRGH baby at the end of October 2024!

It was an absolute pleasure having Dr Theodorou as our consultant at CRGH and I would highly recommend him to others going through fertility treatment. Dr Efstathios Theodorou gave us an amazing service and I would recommend him 100% to anyone considering him as a doctor for fertility reasons. He listened to our request, checked into every medical angle with us and gave us his medical opinion on the best route for us. We had been to perviouis clinics iin the past and the doctors there either overlooked medical issues I had (female) or ignored medical issues my husband had. We first saw him in April 2019 and by the end of March 2020 we were holding our first child. We had a second baby, a girl in November 2023 from a frozen embryo. The reasons for the delay inbetween was medical issues I had so it was better to wait until I was in full health and also I needed steroids during the treatment and they weren't available due to covid until 2024

Dr Theodorou had been most helpful and thorough throughout the process from the video calls to the procedures that took place in the clinic and theatre. In between appointments we were also able to reach him and had our questions resolved.

Dr Theodorou made my wife and I feel safe and cared for from our very first consultation. He understood our unique situation and managed our expectations throughout treatment. The nurses, his assistant and lab staff were all incredible. Everyone was always friendly and sensitive to what we were going through, and there were many lows. After my wife’s 3rd embryo transfer, I am delighted to say we are now blessed with twins who are happy and healthy. Thank you Dr. Theodorou and the great team behind you.
