Thank you for the lovely review and appreciation
I feel very lucky to have found Dr Bakshi. From the outset, he understood my condition and was clear and decisive about how best to treat it. Before I had even visited the clinic, having read the symptoms I submitted online, Dr Bakshi suspected that what I thought was eczema was actually chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU). He quickly arranged the appropriate blood tests and put a treatment plan in place. I first saw him in December 2024, when my CSU flared for the first time. The antihistamines he prescribed worked quickly and allowed me to manage the condition well for around eight months. When it returned, however, it was considerably more severe and at its worst left me effectively housebound for over a month. Dr Bakshi recommended Xolair injections and supported me throughout what was a difficult and unpredictable period. As the condition fluctuated, he was always available to offer advice and reassurance, and the treatment gradually allowed me to get back to normal life. I would highly recommend Dr Bakshi. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring and a really decent man, and I always felt that he was genuinely invested in getting me better. Thank you to Dr Bakshi, Rahul and the British Allergy Clinic for all your kindness, help and support, I am very grateful for your care.

Was very clear what the issue I had was and course of treatment. Many times you go in unsure there will be a clear path but this wasn’t the case

Dr Bakshi was incredibly patient while I explained my child’s condition, and I felt genuinely listened to throughout the appointment. They were very attentive, supportive and empathetic, which made a difficult situation much easier to navigate. Dr Bakshi explained the possible causes clearly and calmly, and their professionalism and evident expertise were very reassuring. I left feeling informed, understood and confident in the care my child was receiving.

Excellent Doctor. Good knowledge, explained things well. Convenient times. Gave us plenty of time to discuss. Would be happy to highly recommend to friends and family

Many thanks for the kind feedback.
I was very anxious about my appointment. Over my life I have seen many many consultants for conditions that they found baffling. My health has been very poor since Christmas and I felt he was perhaps my last hope of a diagnosis and perhaps treatment. I was immediately put at ease . He didn’t rush . He listened to my concerns and gave me a plan. An excellent experience I would happily recommend him to others.

Many thanks for your review. It was a pleasure to help you.

Impact of allergic rhinitis on exam performance School examinations in the UK are conducted in the months between May and June, which are the peak time period for allergic rhinitis (especially hay fever triggered by grass and tree pollen). In a significant study conducted by Education for Health in the UK in 2007, statistically significant results determined that children with allergic rhinitis symptoms, are likely to drop a grade between the ‘mock’ and ‘final’ GCSE.
