When I went to see Dr Bakshi I was really struggling with Urticaria, despite numerous sessions with GP my condition continued to worsen. Dr Bakshi took me through a process of elimination to establish if there was a trigger, and then we tried high level of histamine approach before agreeing to a alternative treatment which involved a monthly injection. After 6 months I am now urticaria free and my quality of life is back to where I was a year ago, symptom free and having identified triggers can now manage myself avoiding any reoccurrence. I genuinely cannot thank him enough for solving what was an incredibly debilitating condition.

Impact of allergic rhinitis on exam performance School examinations in the UK are conducted in the months between May and June, which are the peak time period for allergic rhinitis (especially hay fever triggered by grass and tree pollen). In a significant study conducted by Education for Health in the UK in 2007, statistically significant results determined that children with allergic rhinitis symptoms, are likely to drop a grade between the ‘mock’ and ‘final’ GCSE.
