Dr. Vas Novelli

Dr Vas Novelli is a Consultant in Paediatric Infectious Diseases at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), London, and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Child Health, University of London. With over three decades of experience, Dr Novelli trained in paediatric infectious diseases at GOSH, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

He has served as Lead Clinician for infectious diseases at GOSH and chaired the hospital’s General Medical Staff Committee. His clinical and research interests include HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and atypical mycobacterial infections, infections in immunocompromised children, Varicella-Zoster virus, and chronic viral hepatitis.
