Dr Timothy Williams

Dr Timothy Williams is an accomplished Consultant Cardiologist specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of cardiac disease. He practices at Tunbridge Wells Hospital as part of the NHS, where he was appointed as a consultant in 2021. His clinical expertise spans coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, hypertension, risk assessment, and preventative cardiology. As an interventional cardiologist, he performs a wide range of invasive procedures, including complex and advanced coronary techniques, while maintaining a strong commitment to holistic, patient-centred outpatient care.

Dr Williams graduated from Oxford University Medical School in 2010, completing an intercalated MA (Hons) in Medical Sciences the following year. He achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2013 and went on to undertake specialist cardiology training across the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex region. He refined his interventional skills at both the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and King’s College Hospital. In 2021, he was awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Brighton and Sussex Medical School for his research into aortic valve disease.
