Dr Tim Kinnaird

I am a busy cardiologist and lead the largest cath lab in Wales based at the University Hospital of Wales. I trained in Cardiff, London, Vancouver and Washington DC before returning to my native Wales. I am interested in all aspect of coronary artery disease management including angina, heart attack, angiography and angioplasty. I have an active academic career and spend a day a week in cardiovascular research funded by a Welsh Assembly grant. I also sit on a NICE committee, am a member of the BCIS R&D Group, BCIS Lead on a NICOR application review group, and am honorary treasurer of the Welsh Cardiovascular Society.
