Dr Suzannah August

Dr Suzannah August is a Consultant Dermatologist currently working at the private practice BMI The Harbour Hospital and her current NHS post is Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Her areas of specialism are inflammatory skin disease, paediatric skin disease, education and training and clinical trials. Her areas of interest include acne, skin conditions, eczema, skin tumours /cancer/oncology and psoriasis.

Dr August graduated from the University of Edinburgh Medical School in 2001, with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees. She became fully registered in August 2000. She has trained and worked in research posts at the University of Southampton, St Mary's Hospital Portsmouth and University of Leiden, the Netherlands. She has many professional memberships including British Association of Dermatologists and European Society of Dermatological Research.

Dr August has a keen interest in teaching, she utilises her expertise to teach GPs, nurses, hospital doctors and medical students. She has a caring and supportive approach when working with her patients.
