Dr Ron Simon

Dr Ron Simon is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist. He studied medicine at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals in London, qualifying in 1991, before going on to train in cardiology there. In addition to his clinical work at North Middlesex University Hospital and the Barts Heart Centre, he is also an honorary senior lecturer at the Royal Free Medical School.

Dr Simon is highly skilled and experienced in 3D intracardiac echocardiography imaging for complex ablations, an area of medicine that requires great precision and expertise. After completing his MD at London University, he went on to complete a fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Medical University of South Carolina from 2003-2005. Since joining North Middlesex Hospital in 2005, he has set up specialist clinics for arrhythmias and heart failure patients which have helped improve care for hundreds of people in the local community. He continues to play a key role in developing new services that allow catheter-based treatments for patients with suitable rhythm disturbances locally, making sure that more people have access to this life-saving treatment.
