Dr Rina Gupta

Dr Rina Gupta is a Consultant Psychiatrist with a special interest in women's mental health and perinatal psychiatry. With her dual training and experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, she provides expert advice and management for mental health problems during pregnancy and after childbirth.

Dr Gupta works as a visiting consultant at The Priory Hospital in Chelmsford and as a Consultant Psychiatrist for the NHS at Broomfield Hospital, specializing in perinatal issues on an acute inpatient mother and baby ward as well as for the Specialist Psychosis team in the Community. She is also involved in training and teaching health professionals from various medical fields.

Her research interests include perinatal issues such as postnatal depression and puerperal psychosis, anxiety and related disorders, mood disorders including bipolar affective disorder and depression, as well as ADHD.
