Diseases, Medical Tests and TreatmentsI have a particular interest in difficulties that people experience in relation to the thoughts and feelings they have about their self and their identity. I have written about self-acceptance in blogs and academic journals, and am currently working on a book on the subject.

Richard was the course leader when I did my CBT training at UoB. He has an awe inspiring understanding of the theory behind CBT, ACT and REBT and is particularly well known and respected within the field of ACT. He is a gentle, compassionate guy who endeavours to embody all that ACT promotes to lead a meaningful, value filled life whilst making room for obstacles or difficulties that inevitably arise... He strives to use the most recent evidence-based interventions and has his client's emotional development at the heart of all that he does.

PsychologistI was fortunate enough to be trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy by Dr Richard Bennett, at the University of Birmingham.
