About Dr Ralph Abraham
Dr Ralph Abraham received his medical education at Oxford University and went on to complete a PhD in Biochemistry studying insulin resistance in a genetic model of obesity. He went on to train as an academic Physician at the University of London, gaining valuable experience at a number of esteemed hospitals including Kings College Hospital, St Mary's Hospital and St Bartholomew's Hospital.
In 1991, Dr Abraham founded London Medical, now an established private clinic dedicated to providing unrivalled patient care in high quality, state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities in diabetes, endocrinology, ophthalmology, paediatrics, cardiology, general practice and obesity. It is now owned by BUPA. Dr Abraham is a full-time Consultant Physician in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Lipid Disorders at the London Medical. He specialises in all aspects of diabetes but particularly using pumps and sensors in adults and in children as well as having a specialist interest in lipid management and prevention of heart attack or stroke.
Dr Abraham also speaks French and Italian and was included in Tatler's Top 250 Consultants by specialty in 2013.

I met Dr Abraham 3 weeks ago for my Diabetes diagnosis. Dr Abraham was very clear & concise in detailing from start to finish, reasoning for my symptoms (diabetes diagnoses), how best to manage & I mentioned I am unsure what this means from a diet point of view and foods to avoid so has put me in touch with a dietician also. We had a conversation on how to still enjoy your food as a diabetic & found the experience/chat very inspirational & I went away motivated & inspired to make changes. If I ever need any urgent communication Dr Abraham is always available & it's a privilege to be able to call Dr Abraham my consultant/Dr.
Dr Abraham replied to my email at the weekend, which was very kind of him. In his reply he gave clear advice and Hashas put my mind
