Dr Rachael Robinson

I am a Consultant Dermatologist at Harrogate and District Foundation trust specialising in General Dermatology.

I studied at the University of Leeds and originally worked as a General Practitioner partner and trainer in Knaresborough, where I developed an interest in dermatology which led to a passion for the subject motivating me to train as a dermatologist .

I have beeen involved in several national guideline/research projects in skin cancer, acne, and alopecia. I'm interested in skin cancer, acne, eczema, psoriasis and education of health professionals in dermatology.

I work as a visiting lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, teaching GPs and Nurses on the subject of Dermoscopy, which enables skin cancer to be picked up at an early stage.

Outside work, my hobbies include running – everything from park runs to marathons – in Harrogate and the Lake District.
