Dr Punit Ramrakha acts in a professional, reassuring, and kind manner with patients. He provides thorough investigations and gives clear explanations for diagnoses and proposed treatments, including various tests and procedures. Patients express high confidence in his expertise, feeling at ease and understanding their conditions better. Common concerns patients seek care for include atrial fibrillation, echocardiograms, ECGs, and arrhythmia.
Dr Ramrakha gave a full description of the angiogram I had in a way that I could understand. As in using layman's language rather than medical terminology. I did not feel rushed and was able to articulate my concerns. The plan going forward was clear.
I have been under Dr Ramrakha's care for the past year, and every appointment has been consistently thorough, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. He never makes me feel rushed, always takes the time to listen carefully, answer my questions, and ensure I fully understand my condition, treatment, and progress. His reassuring manner and genuine interest in my wellbeing have given me great confidence throughout my care. Dr Ramrakha combines exceptional clinical expertise with kindness, empathy, and professionalism. I feel incredibly fortunate to have him as my cardiologist and have complete confidence in his care. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for an outstanding cardiologist.
As per my original visit, this follow up visit and consultation was managed very effectively and professionally, and lead to clear update on my condition and some reassurement!
I have always experienced an excellent relationship with Dr Ramrakha in all my visits over many years, fully trusting his professional knowledge and experience
The whole experience was professional and friendly .All explanations were clear and understandable .The follow up has been very exceptional again with clear plans moving forward
My consultation with Mr Ramrakha was excellent. He has a lovely warm but professional manner, with a clear explanation and a plan of action which will put my mind at rest. I felt he listened with interest to with my information and concerns. Thank you.
I have been seeing Dr Ramrakha over quite a few years and find hm very approachable and extremely knowledgeable. He speaks in language that you understand and always puts you at ease. I would thoroughly recommend him.
This was an initial visit. I asked my GP to refer me to Dr Ramrakha because I had had two recent visits to A & E with chest pains and CT scans had shown problems with my heart. This was followed by an echocardiogram and 48 hour tape, but then I was referred back to my GP without any follow up from cardiology. Dr Ramrakha was very professional. He took details of my symptoms, past medical history and medication, as well as having access to the echocardiogram I had last year. He explained to me what the results of the echocardiogram showed, and has arranged for me to have another one to see if there has been any change within the last year. He diagnosed angina and has arranged for me to have an angiogram, as well as prescribing medication to alleviate my symptoms. During my initial appointment Dr Ramrakha has given me a diagnosis, prescribed medication to alleviate my symptoms, arranged for further investigations to be carried out , and a management plan for the way forward.
The visit was handled superbly. I felt comfortable at every stage of the examination. The doctor had a good sense of humour, which always helps. I couldn’t have asked for more.

RadiologistPunit is an extremely astute and capable cardiologist and enormously popular with his patients As I look after the pipes and he does the pump we have a large number in common. Perhaps the highest recommendation is that he is my cardiologist enabling me to keep my pilots license in the teeth of bureaucratic intransigence over erroneous investigations!
