Having more time to discuss my medical concerns with a gp has been very helpful, both in terms of having the opportunity to give a full history of my symptoms and time to plan next steps.

I did the ketamine programme, and had a great experience with my counsellor. The integration sessions made such a difference, because I could feel my brain open up and be able to integrate, concepts and experiences I had struggled with understanding earlier. 

The ketamine sessions themselves take some getting used to, and can be uncomfortable, but it does provide a release, and I felt like my nervous system could finally come out of fight-or-flight. 

I had been struggling with trd and cptsd for a while, and after doing the ketamine and putting the work in in the integration sessions, I feel like I can envision a future for myself, and have a better sense of my own wants, needs, and desires. Before I couldn't see through the depression for anything longterm. The ketamine itself isn't a magic cure, and you have to do the work yourself if you want to feel better, but it opens doors which may have felt closed or inaccessible before, and allows you to start making progress after being stuck. 

Also, everyone is attentive and personable and kind, which makes a real difference.

Looking back at my documents from my initial sessions, I can see how far I have come. As with Emma, I am so thankful for having been assigned to Henry, whose compassionate and enthusiastic approach helped me to reach a place where I am able to be present, return to work and have such a positive outlook on my future - something which seemed impossible only a few months ago.
I would recommend the Priory to anyone who may be facing challenges with their mental health.

I have seen Dr Alexandra Pittock a handful of times via video appointments and twice in person while going through my ADHD consultations and titration onto Elvanse. The care and support I have received from her has genuinely been life changing.

Dr Pittock has helped me understand my ADHD in a way that has completely changed how I approach my life. After many years of struggling to make sense of certain challenges, she has given me clarity, reassurance and practical guidance that has made a real difference to my day-to-day life. Starting treatment under her guidance has been a very positive experience, and I now feel like I am looking forward rather than constantly looking back.

She is warm, kind and very easy to talk to, which immediately puts you at ease. At the same time, she is clearly extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful in her approach. I always feel listened to during appointments, never rushed, and fully supported in decisions about my treatment.

I would highly recommend Dr Pittock to anyone seeking assessment or support for ADHD.
