About Dr Michael Dubowitz

Dr Michael Nathan Dubowitz is a consultant cardiologist at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust and a visiting consultant at Harefield Hospital. He was clinical director of cardiology and metabolic medicine from 2002-2008. He is accredited in both Cardiology and General Medicine and has a special interest in the early diagnosis and prevention of heart disease.

Dr Dubowitz qualified from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1988, training in Oxford, achieving his doctorate (DPhil) in complex genetic predisposition to disease, for which he was elected to a college fellowship. He subsequently specialised in cardiology with further training at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School (Hammersmith Hosptial) and Harefield Hospital.
