Dr Malcolm Metcalfe

Dr Metcalfe is a master of every aspect of Cardiology apart from highly specialised Electrophysiology. He became a Consultant Cardiologist in 1995. He was trained in Cardiology in Aberdeen as a Research Fellow then in Glasgow at Registrar and Senior Registrar levels. He has published more than 40 research papers, presented extensively to National and International bodies. He has experience in fundraising (Craig Centre MRI scanner), Research Grants (in excess of £1.5M) and has been involved in medical management to a senior level for many years.
