Mr Sudipta Roy

Dr Sudipta Roy is a Consultant Respiratory Physician specialising in respiratory and general internal medicine. He is primarily based within the NHS and also sees private patients at Ross Hall Hospital and Braehead Clinic in Glasgow.

Dr Roy graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Calcutta in 1986. He subsequently completed a Diploma in Tropical Medicine at the School of Tropical Medicine, Kolkata, in 1992, before obtaining Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP UK) in 1999. He completed his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine through the West Midlands Deanery in 2008 and was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP UK) in 2010.

Dr Roy has worked as a Consultant Respiratory Physician since 2008. His clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and management of respiratory conditions, with particular expertise in airways disease, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma. He also has a specialist interest in interstitial lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis.
