I went to see Dr Katz for a private consultation after I was referred through my NHS GP, but was still waiting for an NHS consultation after 6 months with no appointment. He was very polite, patient and listened to my history without interrupting. He took his time with his investigation and we sat and discussed options. He gave a diagnosis and treatment advice. He was aware that I was self funding and gave suggestions regarding the most economical way of moving forward. Overall a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend.

Consultant was very patient and informative. Maintains a person centred approach to his practice which is very positive. I am happy with the service provided and wish to continue receiving such support.

I am 64years old mam with not previous history of illness and have tried to look after my self. However, following an insect bite on face, it seems to have triggered my Thyroid from over acting. My GP recommended Dr Katz and following a short wait, it was worth seeing him. He was professional and asked good questions. He summarised well and answered all my questions. - Appointment was on time. At the end of the session, I was clear about the next steps and felt I was in "good hands".

I have been under the care of Dr Katz following my thyroidectomy in December 2025, and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough, he listens to my concerns and takes my individual needs into consideration. He has been instrumental in helping to keep my thyroid levels well monitored and appropriately managed following my surgery. He also communicates and liaises very well with my other doctors, which has made the whole process feel a lot more reassuring. He is always pleasant, approachable and easy to deal with. I am very grateful for the support and expertise he has provided throughout my treatment.

Dr Katz is very patient and communicates well with my oncology team which is essential. He is great at listening to any concerns I have and looking at things as a whole and working out what is best for me.
