Dr Jonathan Birns

Dr Jonathan Birns BSc MBBS PhD FRCP is a Consultant in Stroke Medicine, Geriatrics and General Medicine at The Wellington Hospital. Birns qualified at University College London Medical School in 1998, where he was awarded a First Class Honours BSc.

Birns undertook Postgraduate General Medical training at the Hammersmith, Royal Brompton, University College and Whittington Hospitals and attained MRCP in 2001.

He specialises in all aspects of cerebrovascular disease including transient ischaemic attack (TIA), Stroke, Cognitive impairment, Hypertension, Blood pressure, Comprehensive geriatric and General medical assessment.
