Dr Hannah Cookson

Dr Hannah Cookson is a Consultant Dermatologist at St John's Institute of Dermatology at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and she also sees patients privately, including at HCA at The Shard and The London Bridge Hospital. Dr Cookson treats all general dermatology conditions, including acne, hair loss, benign and cancerous skin lesions and rashes. She also has specialist interests in eczema, cutaneous allergy, urticaria and psoriasis.

Dr Cookson is the lead consultant for the community dermatology service for Southwark and she is also involved in the education and training of GPs with special interest in dermatology. Her focus is on treating patients holistically, ensuring they are actively involved in their treatment decisions.

She graduated from Bristol University Medical School in 2006 and then undertook dermatology specialist training at King's College Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas's, where she was appointed a substantive consultant in 2017. Dr Cookson has been published and also won prizes for her dedication to patient care.
