Dr Donna Thompson

Dr Donna Thompson is a Consultant Dermatologist. Their subspecialty interests include Paediatric Dermatology as well as Cutaneous Allergy.

Dr Thompson is a graduate of the University of the West Indies (UWI) where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Chemistry from the faculty of Natural Sciences, as well as a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the faculty of Medical Sciences. They are also a graduate of the University of London having obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Clinical Dermatology with distinction from the St. John's Institute of Dermatology. They are a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) of London.

Dr Thompson is a published author in peer-reviewed journals and has been a speaker at numerous local, regional, national and international meetings. They are committed to facilitating continuing professional development across regions. They have been the organiser of the West Midlands Regional Dermatology Clinical Meetings since 2009, and additionally they have organised several West Midlands Dermatopathology Meetings, and Midlands Dermatological Society Meetings. They are currently the meetings secretary for the British Society for Cutaneous Allergy (BSCA) and are responsible for organising the biennial national update meeting.
