Dr David Tsang

Dr David Tsang is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist, holding posts at both Southend University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Basildon and Thurrock Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, while also offering private cancer treatment at Spire Hartswood private Hospital in Brentwood, Essex and Spire Wellesley Hospital in Southend, Essex. He was appointed Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Southend Hospital in December 2004 and was Clinical Director of his department and lead cancer clinician for his hospital for two years earlier on in my career

Dr Tsang specialises in upper and lower gastrointestinal cancers and urological cancers, with a special clinical interest in cancers of the oesophagus, stomach, pancreas, colon, rectum, prostate and bladder.

Dr Tsang studied medicine at The Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel completing oncology training at a number of different hospitals including St Bartholomew's, Oldchurch, Southend, Charing Cross, and Hammersmith.

Outside a clinical setting, Dr Tsang is co-author of a small number of papers on prostate cancer and the local principal investigator at Southend and Basildon Hospitals for a number of ongoing clinic trials (including bowel cancer studies).
