Dr Sarwar has been my oncologist on the NHS at Charing Cross Hospital. He always has time for questions and is honest and clear with his explanations. He doesn't bother with small talk but I have seen several instances of him going above and beyond for patients. For example, staying late on a Friday night to answer my questions while I'm on the ward or personally wheeling a patient for a scan when there's no porters available. Other consultants might not bother. I appreciate his expert care and that of his brilliant team of registrars and clinical nurse specialists. I hope my cancer doesn't return, but if it did, knowing that I would still be under Dr Sarwar's care makes me feel calmer. Thank you!

Dr Sarwar has been my oncologist since I first got diagnosed in October 2020. Through an extremely stressful and uncertain time I felt very confident being a patient under Dr Sarwar. Three years on since finishing treatment and I’m still in communication, I know if I have any problems or concerns I can get in touch with the team which has been a great help in my recovery journey. Thank you.
