Dr David Fluck

Dr. David Fluck is a highly experienced Consultant Cardiologist. He qualified as a Doctor in 1986 from Bartholomew’s Medical School and went on to complete his specialist cardiology training at the London Chest Hospital. He completed a research fellowship at St. Mary’s Hospital and Imperial College, focusing on myocardial ischaemia and reperfusion, which laid the foundation for his continued interest in cardiovascular research.

Dr. Fluck specialises in ischaemic heart disease, while also treating a broad range of general cardiac conditions including, heart failure, valvular disease, and rhythm disturbances. He brings over two decades of clinical expertise to his work at Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospital, where he also serves on the Board as Medical Director, and at St. George’s Hospital.

His approach is rooted in evidence-based care and a commitment to improving long-term outcomes for patients with complex cardiac needs. Dr. Fluck is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP UK) and an active member of the British Cardiac Society .

Known for his clinical insight and leadership, Dr Fluck continues to contribute to the advancement of cardiology through patient care, research, and healthcare governance.
