Miss Claudia DeGiovanni

Miss Claudia DeGiovanni is a Consultant Dermatologist. They qualified in 1999 with a distinction from the University of London, having trained at St Mary's Hospital Medical School at Imperial College. Their dermatology training brought them to the South Coast. During this time they did an attachment at St Johns' Institute of Dermatology, London, working in the immunobullous clinic and laboratory. Miss DeGiovanni was appointed as a Consultant in Brighton in 2008.

Miss DeGiovanni is on the British Association of Dermatologists register as a local champion for immunobullous and connective tissue disease. They represent Kent, Surrey and Sussex as dermatology research lead for the CLRN (comprehensive local research network) and represent the South Coast at the national Clinical Reference Group for specialist commissioning. They are also a member of the UK dermatology clinical trials network prioritisation panel.

Outside of their professional life, Miss DeGiovanni enjoys walking in the Sussex countryside with family and friends. They also have a keen interest in photography and playing the piano.
