Dr Ashwin Pinto

I have worked for University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation Trust since November 2003. Following a research fellowship in neurology under Professor Newsom Davis in Oxford, I completed my post-graduate training at the Wessex Neurological Centre in Southampton and the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford. I have sub-specialist interests in neuromuscular disease, including myasthenia and motor neurone disease, as well as neuro-ophthalmology. In the past few years, I have established an innovative day case peripheral vein access plasma exchange service for neuro-immunology patients at the Wessex Neurological Centre.
