Dr Ali Abd

Dr Ali Abd is a highly skilled General Practitioner at The Jorja Emerson Centre, bringing decades of medical experience and specialised expertise to his role. He completed his medical degree at the University of Baghdad in 1997 and later pursued advanced studies, earning a Master’s degree in Medical Genetics from London Metropolitan University in 2007. In 2023, Dr Abd was awarded Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Currently in the final stages of his PhD Fellowship in Medical Genetics at Brighton and Sussex Medical School, Dr Abd combines his extensive knowledge in genetics with his GP practice. This unique expertise allows him to provide comprehensive care, particularly in diagnosing and managing genetic conditions.

At The Jorja Emerson Centre, Dr Abd is dedicated to offering accessible and affordable healthcare. He covers a broad spectrum of illnesses and symptoms, arranging for MRI and Ultrasound scans, blood tests, and specialist referrals—often on the same day. His approach ensures that patients receive prompt, personalised, and effective treatment.
