Dr Alessandra Frigiola

Dr Alessandra Frigiola is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Harley Street Clinic, London Bridge Hospital and St Thomas' Hospital. She has trained in general medicine and qualified as adult cardiologist at the University of Verona, Italy in 2001. She has subsequently gained expertise in adult congenital heart diseases after having trained for several years at the Heart Hospital (University College London Hospitals), the Brompton Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.

Her main areas of interest are exercise physiology in congenital heart disease and multi-modality imaging including cardiac MRI (level III SCMR accredited, level III EACVI ACHD CMR imaging accredited), cardiac CT and echocardiography.

Dr Alessandra Frigiola was awarded an MDres from University College London in 2012. Since 2017 has been working also as Senior Clinical Lecturer at Kings College London and is currently the adult congenital heart disease lead for research in one of the largest UK centres for cardiovascular diseases. She is involved in numerous research projects with track record publications in peer reviewed journals and numerous national and international presentations. Her achievement and skill as a doctor and ongoing contribution to the medical profession has been awarded with a Fellowship by the Royal College of Physician (FRCP).
