Dr Adam Mead

Dr Adam Mead is a highly qualified Haematologist.

Dr Mead trained in medicine and haematology at the University of Oxford and UCL. They completed their PhD at UCL in 2007. Dr Mead's research has focused on characterising genetic and cellular heterogeneity in myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN) and related myeloid neoplasms. Their ultimate goal is to improve the diagnosis, risk-stratification and treatment of these largely incurable forms of blood cancer.

Dr Mead's research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including Science Translational Medicine and Nature Genetics. They are also a frequent speaker at international conferences.

Dr Mead is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, the Royal College of Pathologists, and the British Society for Haematology.
