Dr Dipesh Vasant is a dedicated Consultant Gastroenterologist who offers expert, compassionate care for patients experiencing a broad range of digestive system conditions. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Vasant works to ensure that individuals feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their care journey. He focuses on delivering accurate diagnoses and tailored management plans designed to improve quality of life for those living with chronic and complex gut conditions.

Clinically, Dr Vasant has a specialist interest in neurogastroenterology and motility disorders, alongside disorders of gut-brain interaction. His areas of expertise encompass the management of conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, rumination syndrome, functional dyspepsia, gastroparesis, dysphagia, and severe gastrointestinal dysmotility. In addition to conventional medical treatments and diagnostic endoscopic procedures, he has a strong clinical focus on holistic management strategies, including gut-focused hypnotherapy and behavioural interventions for gastrointestinal conditions.

Dr Vasant qualified in medicine with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBChB) and subsequently earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) for his academic research in gastrointestinal health. He holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and actively contributes to medical education and scientific advancement as a Senior Lecturer and as an Associate Editor for peer-reviewed medical journals.
