Dr David Shortland

Dr David Shortland trained at Bristol, Great Ormond Street , Leicester and Nottingham Hospitals, and is accredited in general paediatrics and neonatology. He was neonatal clinical lead at Poole Hospital for 10 years and clinical director for 15 years. National roles have included National Workforce Officer , Vice President and Clinical Lead for Invited Reviews ( for the Royal College Of Paedaitrics and Child Health ) . He was closely involved in producing national quality standards for paediatrics.

Dr Shortland looks after children with all types of medical problems and as a private paediatrician he sees children over 1 month of age
